Type of E-commerce
Typically, when we think of e-commerce, we picture an online business deal between a supplier and a customer. Although this concept is sound, we may be more precise and categorise e-commerce into six main categories with their own distinctive features.
There are 6 different types of e-commerce:
1. Business-to-Business (B2B)
Business-to-business (B2B) sales involve selling to other businesses. In most cases, the products and services are intended solely for commercial purposes, such as enhancing output, teamwork, office requirements, or the production process. The customer frequently has the option of buying large quantities of the goods to resell.

2. Business-to-Consumer (B2C)
A B2C business deals directly with customers. The products or services, which can range from food, apparel and t-shirt shops, gadgets, and streaming services, are mostly for personal use.

3. Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C)
With the C2C model of eCommerce, a company offers a website where customers may exchange goods and services. These platforms might be online markets where users can list their goods and get payment. Although the transaction takes place in person, it might also serve as a platform for people to sell their products or services.

4. Consumer-to-Business (C2B)
In C2B eCommerce, people make their skills and abilities available to businesses. Freelancing, affiliate marketing, and user testing are a few examples of common products or services under this approach.
