What is customer database?

A customer database is a repository of data that contains lead contact information such first and last names, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. There are various purposes for customer databases. They can be applied strategically to develop customer journey maps, sales funnels, critical account profiles, and buyer personas(Zhostka, 2022).

A customer database in Microsoft Excel might include customer related information, for example, Customer ID, First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, and, Address.



What is Product database?

A product database is an organised collection of information about a product that is electronically maintained and stored. These facts are known as product specs. They include a wide range of data, including the product name, weight, internal and external references, ingredients, raw materials, packaging, supplier, official labels, labelling information, and more (inno-foodproducts-brainbox.com, 2021).
