What is Programming languages?
In E-commerce website development, there are many languages using to make attractive and websites, web pages, and web apps that are helpful, as well as some of them programming language are:
HTML: The set of markup symbols or codes entered into a file intended for display on the Internet is known as Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML). The markup instructs web browsers on how to display the text and pictures on a web page (Hayes, 2022).
CSS: CSS is a language for describing how documents are presented to users, including how they are styled, organised, etc. A document is typically a text file that has been marked up using a markup language; HTML is the most popular markup language, but you may also run into SVG or XML. Presenting a document in a form that your audience can use is presenting it to them. In order to exhibit documents visually, such as on a computer screen, projector, or printer, browsers like Firefox, Chrome, or Edge are used (developer.mozilla.org, 2023).
JavaScript: JavaScript is a scripting language that lets you do just about everything, including creating dynamically updated content and managing multimedia (developer.mozilla.org, What is JavaScript? - learn web development: MDN).
Python: Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level, dynamically semantic programming language. It is particularly desirable for Rapid Application Development as well as for usage as a scripting or glue language to tie existing components together due to its high-level built-in data structures, dynamic typing, and dynamic binding. Python's straightforward syntax prioritises readability and makes it simple to learn, which lowers the cost of programme maintenance. Python's support for modules and packages promotes the modularity and reuse of code in programmes. For all popular platforms, the Python interpreter and its comprehensive standard library are freely distributable in source or binary form (python.org, 2023).
Ruby: Ruby is a dynamic, open-source, reflective, object-oriented programming language. Ruby is compared to the programming languages Perl and Smalltalk. It functions on a variety of operating systems, including UNIX, Windows, and Mac OS. The programming language is entirely object-oriented. Ruby treats everything as an object. Each and every code has own characteristics and functions. Actions here are methods, while properties are variables. Ruby is seen as adhering to the POLA principle (principle of least astonishment). It indicates that the language acts in a manner that minimises confusion for seasoned users (javatpoint.com, 2023).
